The Sockits went to a Knit under the Willow tree weekend this week :)
They met Amanda and Phil who run
The Natural Dye Studio at a lovely little farm with a big willow tree outside. Lots of people came from far and wide to play and knit and eat cake. There were alot of socks about, some still being knitted, and lots of very beautiful ones which the Sockits liked very much.
They decided to climb the tree so that they could have a good view of what everyone was doing.
Amanda makes lots of lovely yarn for people to knit with. Its all dyed with natural things and there are lots and lots and lots of scrummy colours! Its all so soft so the Sockits quite enjoyed playing in it. If they'd been allowed I think they would have stayed for hours but then they might have caused tangles...
They made lots of new friends and some of the Sockits have gone to new homes with their new friends. We hope they keep in touch!

He has recently been on an adventure to Scotland and even though it was a bit rainy it looks like he had a good time. Nermin always knows to look on the bright side of things ^.^
